An excellent resource for students who want to understand why traditionally “soft” issues for business like human rights, the environment, or diversity have now become “hard” – hard to ignore, hard to manage, and very hard for businesses that get them wrong

Since the beginning of this month I am supervising the Open University course on Corporate Responsibility for Sustainable Development.

This course elaborates on the discourses and practices of corporate responsibility. It addresses social and environmental issues, various models and approaches, the impact of corporate responsibility, and the criticism it gets. The course uses the book Corporate Responsibility by Blowfield and Murray, a digital learning environment and online seminars.

The course is open to anyone.
